GIVE A GIFT OF TRANSFORMATION ~ ACCESS TO EDUCATION
Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation is the largest community-based non-
profit organization in Saratoga that helps talented local students afford their pursuit of
post-secondary education. YOUR GIFT WILL EMPOWER STUDENTS to pursue their
dreams of post-secondary education.
We are investing in the future by awarding impactful scholarships to students in our
community. EDUCATION CHANGES LIVES AND IS THE GREATEST
TRANSFORMATIONAL GIFT. To date the Foundation has awarded more than 350
students with scholarship assistance.
In 2024 the Foundation awarded $100,000 to 15 local students via scholarships to 2
and 4-year programs that will enable them to reach their fullest potential. Scholarship
awards ranged from $2,500 to $20,000 each.
With your support we will OPEN DOORS FOR MORE LOCAL STUDENTS BY
INCREASING BOTH THE NUMBER OF ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND THE
DOLLAR AMOUNT OF EACH AWARD.
The Foundation is governed entirely by volunteers with expertise in investment
management, accounting, law, fundraising, college admissions and financial aid,
education, and general management. Our administrative costs are minimal, so more of
your gifts go directly to assist students.
WAYS TO GIVE
There are many ways to make a gift to the Foundation.
Make a one-time gift by check or online.
Consider establishing a named permanently endowed scholarship fund in honor or
memory of a loved one.
Donation of securities or tangible assets are welcomed.
Bequests and gifts made over time are options as well.

Make a Charitable IRA Donation Taxpayers 70.5 years of age or older may donate to
a charity such as Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation directly from their IRA
account.
Establish a Named Scholarship Award in honor or memory of a loved one. A
minimum $25,000 investment will provide a permanent, annual scholarship award.
Named awards may be funded with a single donation or through a pledge to be paid
over time. Donors may add to their funds at any time in order to increase the annual
award. We are happy to discuss establishing a named scholarship award, just email us
